Acting Governor Heru Makes Sure Manggarai Fire Survivor Evacuation Process Runs Smooth

Jakarta Provincial Government quickly responds in handling and evacuating fire survivors at RW 06 and RW 12, Manggarai Urban Village, South Jakarta, Tuesday (8/13). The fire occurred at 2:30 AM.

South Jakarta Administration up to Manggarai Urban Village apparatuses also keep monitoring the location and residents' condition," Heru said, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release, Tuesday (8/13).
Heru appealed all apparatuses to run the handling professionally.
"To all joint task force teams, stay enthusiastic in handling the situation. Make sure our affected residents can get optimal services and be educated on disaster mitigation. So that they can minimize the risk of the same disaster happening in the future," Heru added.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Regional Disaster Handling Agency Head, Isnawa Adji, said various aids had been distributed such as 40 boxes of mineral water, 300 pcs of blanket, 100 pcs of mukena, 100 pcs of sarong, 91 packages of family kit, kidsware 200 packages, clothing by 43 packages, and 100 pieces of tarpaulin.
"We also distributed 300 packages of breakfast for residents taking refugee," he said.
According to him, the refugee camps are at Infinia warehouse, Jalan Minangkabau; Al Falah Mosque at RW 07; and SDN 05 Manggarai at RW 09.
"Now we're adding the tent for them. Toilet and clean water are also prepared. Food, clothing, and up to facilities are prepared today for the survivors" he continued.
Each posts will have personnel from Social Sub-agency for logistic, Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency for getting new documents, and Health Sub-agency for facilitating survivors' health. Jakarta Provincial Government cooperates with Banzas Bazis to handle the post-fire. Food, clothing, and facilities are prepared for the next seven days.
